Choosing who to be there at one of the most special moment in your life, to trust to capture your wedding beautifully, can be daunting. Personal comfort and interaction are much more important to final image outcomes than many people realise - quality photography is not only about skill and expertise in taking beautiful, cohesive images. Building rapport and trust with your wedding photographer, feeling comfortable and having some fun, ensures that your images are not only technically perfect, but also capture true emotion and interactions.

It is this reason that you will see that, although I am located in Darwin, I have offered weddings Australia wide, for my clients who continue to trust that I will be there to capture their special day for them.

My style could be described as a mix of journalistic or documentary, with some beautiful posed (but not stiff or emotionless) couple and group images - a mixture of fun, romance and more formal - something for everyone!

I believe in capturing genuine emotion, personalities and relationships. I understand that it can be difficult to be in front of the camera (that’s why I like to be behind it!). I take the time to ensure you look and feel comfortable and relaxed.

During the lead up to your wedding day, I will be in contact regularly and meet with you in person, so that on your wedding day, you are comfortable with me being around you through all of the special moments.

We will work through your photography timeline and locations to ensure your day is cohesive and smooth.

We will discuss your photography desires and put together a list of key family and group images so nothing gets missed.

I will provide you with tips along the way to help make your day easier.

We will practice some poses so that on the day you know what to do and it feels, and more importantly, look comfortable and natural while still being aesthetically pleasing for your final images.

If you need someone to calm your nerves, or put things in perspective as things get crazy - I’ll be there! Many of my brides (and occasionally grooms) contact me with random questions, for advice, or just to talk with me to help them de-stress or vent.
